I take it back, after getting out of thememanager and then back into it the 
install method that the readme file calls for worked. I now have 
acqua-graphite as a theme.  The problem seems to be more along the lines of 
thememanager can't find the themerc locations or something. Someone know what 
file to look at for the code errors. Don't forget to Save on shutdown.
