Guys,

There is very good article in Wired
(http://www.hotwired.com/webmonkey/99/30/index3a.html?tw=frontdoor)
about setting up IP masquerading.  I have similar setup to the one
described in the original post (linux box connected to @home via 1
nic, 2nd nic connected to the hub connecting all other computers).
Works great for me.

Ahh...VERY good reason for IP Masquerading or gating or whatever you
wish to call it. :-)
