Hi Ralph. It's one of the oddities of this list that I've seen your reply before my question has appeared :) Yes, this turned out to be the easy way. I have both OOo and Star, and had tried that under Star, but I think the pdf writer must not be set up properly there. However, in OOo it was simple, and I now have a 120 page manual. I still need to do all the function definitions and parameters, though, and that will be about the same amount, I guess.
