Mandrake 9.0 comes with MySQL and with unixODBC, but I don't see a MyODBC driver anywhere? Did I overlook something, because this seems rather strange.

When I install a MyODBC driver from www.MySQL.com (2.50.39-1, Linux x86 RPM), or even MyODBC-unixODBC-2.50.39-93 found through rpmseek.com, and try to create a User DSN with gODBCConfig, I get the following error when selecting the MyODBC driver: "Could not construct a property list for (MyODBC)".

What should I do to be able to use an ODBC interface to MySQL (for lack of a database-neutral interface without the Microsoft stigma attached to it)?

Thanks.
