Kaj, I just did the urpmi.update thing from command line and it d/l'd just fine, then using the instructions on the ML security web page I edited lilo.config and then did the lilo -v and rebooted into the new kernel with the old kernel showing as an option. Worked well so now I have both and unless I find a problem with the -24 kernel I will later urpme the old kernel. I used one of the French sites that I checked ahead to make sure the new kernel rpms were on it. Some of the mirrors don't have it yet. HTH -- Dennis M. linux user # 180842
