Heh I'd forgotten about UDF. (Universal Device Filemanager, IIRC). Neat software program. Allows older cdroms to read unfinished/unfinalized cd's. Of course it also needs that CDRom to be UDF compliant (a firmware update if possible will fix that. usually.). Ran into this nifty little util years ago when I got my Panasonic & a friend gave me a cd it couldn't read. :)
These days UDF is de riguer in any CDRoms' firmware. It allows almost universal reading of any cd in almost any format. Exceptions are rare (and I can't think of any offhand... anyone?).
