I think you may have an IRQ conflict You can check your IRQ config in KDE Control Centre>Informtation. Your sound card and Lan are probably sharing an IRQ line. To fix it play with your BIOSs settings, or disable unused components in BIOS to force IRQ lines to be reallocated, Set PnpAwareOS in BIOS to NO, and if necessary start moving cards about your motherboard.
