Sorry Benjamin, I meant to forward this back to the list, and not to you
personally.

 I d/loaded the images from http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftpurl.php3(from
the "Mandrake Linux 8.2 ISO image for PPC. Section. After some reading
around, I have found that I am not the only person to have trouble with
these iso formated images, after checking the Roxio (Toast) web site, there
is literally hundreds of queries about how to handle these iso formated
images, and I have yet to find any type of answer (most of the question I
have come across on Roxio's forums, deal with different versions of Linux
builds all released to iso images.

So far I have gone through 8 disks (CD's) and have absolutely nothing to
show for it, other than 8 coasters. Mounting the iso then burning that,
doesn't work, simply trying to burn the d/loaded iso, through toast as an
iso doesn't work, mountign the image than taking all the files fromt he
image, and burning that as an iso or mac/pc hybird doesn't seem to work
either.

Which leads me to why I posted here, there has to be soemone ( I hope : )
that is on a mac, and has figured out how to handle these images to build a
disk that is bootable so that Mandrake can be installed.

 Thanks Kindly
 Dan
