I'm having problems compiling chkrootkit. When I try and make I get the following errors:
gcc -static -o strings strings.c /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lc collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [strings] Error 1 I ran into the same problem a while back trying to compile an older version, however I can't figure out what I did to resolve the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Dan Cox
