i wrote some time ago about the slow handling of mandrake (i mean that it takes too much time until the programs start up). so i downloaded the kernel 2.4.19-24mdk as someone suggested (thank you greg!). with this update there are some improvements!! but konquero and the games are still slow.
so anybody got an idea what to do? i think the problem could result because of my chipset,...
here are the information about my current system: P4 2,53GHz; Epox 4G4A with Intel i845G chipset; Radeon 8500; Seagate Barracuda 80GB (2x)
