> Um ideas? I ran out of em days ago.Well AFAIK, its Konsole. Its the term that sits by the big K in KDE on the panel bar (Far left). Most of the terms I've tried *admittedly I have only tried 2 or 3* work the way they are supposed to. Konsole OTOH won't let me close the term in any way except by typing "exit" at the CLI. Its very weird. I've never had this type of behaviour happen before either. Now if it were just my comp that did this, I'd just think its a me being a ditz who's quite stoned on Demorol (Or Dumberol as my b/f is fond of pointing out...). However so far it seems to affect his install too. Again both of our Linuces are stock installations (Mine has a few updates on it for various programs but that shouldn't make any difference...?).

Is this problem with Konsole? I played around a bit in one, opening multiple sessions in it and did a couple of things like opening mc in one session, opening vi in another, etc.... i went to session/quit and a pop up informed me i still had multiple sessions open ... am i sure i want to quit? i selected yes and the whole thing closed. Or is it a different terminal you're using?
(Close Session only closed one tab at a time btw but even when i was down to the first tab it still closed)
