I downloaded all the Texstar rpms to a single folder then did rpm -Uvh <path>/*.rpm (as root) from the console. The first time through I got a few dependency complaints which I quickly solved with the installation CDs. The second time through it chugged away and 46 or so RPMs later I logged out and back in (NOT a reboot) and was up and running. Incidently, I did this all from within a running KDE 3.05 (The recommended way is from another window manager or without X running.)
Depending on how you setup urpmi, you should be able have the dependency problems solved automatically at the time you install. Good luck.
