My system locked up and couldn't get any sort of response from it so I ended up hitting the <shudder> reset button. Now when it boots up I get a message saying: /dev/hda1 unexpected inconsistency. Run fsck manually. I have to enter the root password and it puts me at a prompt. I run fsck and it just says Parallelizing fsck version 1.14 and does nothing. fsck --help does the same thing, I type man fsck and it tells me command not found. What do I do from here? -Jeff
