I'm trying to set up bogofilter. I needed to install BerkeleyDB, which I
compiled from scratch. Now when I run ./configure for bogofilter I get
this error:
checking if a program can be linked against BerkeleyDB and run... no
configure: error: Cannot run a program linked against libdb.
Did you adjust your library search path to include your libdb?
I'm not so sure what that means. ./configure --help contains this:
LDFLAGS linker flags, e.g. -L<lib dir> if you have libraries in a
nonstandard directory <lib dir>
I have libdb in /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.1/lib and there are also libdb in
/usr/lib.
What am I doing wrong?
