Hmmm, I think I mentioned it before but, too cheap CD rw's give me the same problem. I can read them in the drive I burned them with (I use Gcombust) but not on my laptop. On other desktops it's an extremely slow read and never gets any deeper than the second (directory) level. I don't know if you've used rewriteables, but never use them for install CD's on other machines/drives than that you burned it with, if you want to be sure though. Good luck, HarM
