Ok, Is anyone else out there having troubles establishing a ADSL connection with Mandrake 9.1? I have tried for several days attempting to get my DSL service to work with Mdk9.1 without any luck. It works fine with Mdk9.0 but no so with 9.1. I've installed all the needed packages for PPPoE. I have ran the network configuration wizard with the same parameters as for 9.0, but upon completion a connection cannot be created. It gives general message that there may have been an problem with the configuration (error message is not specified, just generally indicating it could not connect).
I've reinstall the Mandrake 9.1 system 4 times, without any successfully ADSL connection, and reinstalled Mandrake 9.0 two times with perfect connectivity to ADSL DSL Provider Earthlink Suggestions and help appreciated, t.l.
