On the CD under /apps/drivers3DFX there's 6 .rpm's. Install
the 3 that begin with 'XFree86_3DFX' and run 'XF86Setup', choose
your V3 (2000, 3000, 3500) and your all set. If you don't have
the CD you can get them from Mandrake's FTP sites, or www.3dfx.com
has a link to Linux drivers (the same .rpms) on their Web page.
I have the 2k (143mhz), I run it at 178mhz in W98, so I
chose '3000' hopin it's runnin my V3 at 166mhz in Linux (?). All
in all, the 2D performance is better with Linux than W98, at least
on my system (PII 3.50x133).
