MandrakeControl Centre>Networking>Wizard select Expert mode. OR edit /etc/sysconfig/network That is all linuxconf does. Back in the days of 8.1 I used to prefer linuxconf for setting up networking because mcc was not good enough. Now I avoid linuxconf.
