Anne:
The name rang a bell here, too, so I took a look through my Trash folder. It
appears that Walter Anticona got subscribed to this list -- I've no idea as
to how that happened. Walter, who is in Peru, seems to be somewhat less than
proficient at English, and is also very much challenged in the OS department
(yep -- Microsoft Outlook). Walter decided he wanted out, and posted a
message (in Spanish) to that effect back in April. Walter's request went
unheeded. Finally, on May 8, it would seem that Walter blew his stack and
thus took action by posting the following response to 15 threads over a
period of 20 minutes:

> Use MS Windows
> Linux has not documentation

My Trash file shows no further posts by Walter since then. Perhaps someone at
Mandrake took mercy and pulled the plug on Walter; perhaps Walter set up a
filter; perhaps Walter has been suffering in silence. Until today.

I'm sitting here thinking about this whole incident as some sort of
transformed Fawlty Towers episode with the part of Walter played by John
Cleese.

Hmmm... I wonder if Walter's wonderful and beautiful MS Windows got infected
by Bugbear. Gee, Walter, I'm really sorry for you. Damn shame. Real pity
about that.

Can't go on -- laughing too hard to type.
