Book replies are OK I suppose, the trouble is they have to be at least
semi-cogent replies addressing the question(s) posted.
I sometimes veer a little from the topic. <g>

Before this gets addressed I need to ask what version of Mandrake you're
running, and whether you've tried to sneak in any non-Mandrake packages? I've
been seeing reports of the same error message a lot lately from some posters,
and I can't for the life of me figure out why any "officially unofficial"
source (the plf mirrors) would be causing urpmi to toss such errors. This is
entirely too weird to have (almost) any other explanation.
You haven't been playing with cooker packages have you? Or from any outside
source? C'mon, tell the truth and shame the devil.

Let's wait on the answer to the questions I'm posing in response before any
panic ensues, K? Did you follow the instructions on the easy urpmi page as
well as the suggested revision in the second response I made? I noticed this
message was logged before I sent that second message so I'll wait to see what
you reply.

Just for grins'n'giggles I decided to try the theme package you asked about
just in case:
nanook]# urpmi kdemoreartwork-kwinacqua
ftp://ftp.club-internet.fr/pub/linux/plf/9.1/i586/kdemoreartwork-kwinacqua_mod-0.1-1plf.i586.rpm
installing
/var/cache/urpmi/rpms/kdemoreartwork-kwinacqua_mod-0.1-1plf.i586.rpm
Preparing... ##################################################
1:kdemoreartwork-kwinacqua_mod##################################################
Seems that it installed OK. The theme is available in my KDE Control Centre
anyway.
Just leave out the version number of the package as suggested in my second
reply, and this one, then reply to the questions in this post if you're still
having trouble.
You'll probably need the help of someone that knows what the hell they're
doing to figure this out if that's the case. Which usually isn't a problem on
this list. There are a lot of them. :-)
