I bet the writer never took into account the *community* support you get
with Mandrake.
I tried Lindows a few weeks ago. Impressive. You can have an OS up and running in under 5 minutes. We actually timed the time between the actual begin of the install, and the end : 2 min 49 seconds. Wow.
Lindows may be crap (I don't know, I haven't used it enough), but when you go to a house for servicing a friend or relative and you need access to the internet from a dead OS, you can't beat this !
