k, finally got it, I guess it just takes a while for these updates to
get mirrored.

To get the Apache updates, do this as root:

urpmi.update -a

that may take awhile.

then urpmi --update --auto-select

you should see a list of the recommended updates.

if the apache updates are not at the top of the list, 

urpmi.removemedia "updates"

then (all on one line):

 urpmi.addmedia --update updates
ftp://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/linux/distributions/mandrake/updates/9.1/RPMS/
with ../base/hdlist.cz

this mirror, when I just did it now, had the updates.
