What about creating a SWAP partition on the new 60gb drive, and then
setting the rest as /var - so you can then create other directories
underneat the /var to use for whatever purposes you desire - that way
you can move the SWAP off the primary drive and put it on a different
physical spindel - which in the mere fact that you're segregating it
physically, you'll definitely improve your overall system
performance...(just a thought)
