A few weeks ago I installed Mdk 6.0 on my 2nd HDD. I
have hda split into 2 fat32 partitions for W98. I divided hdb
into 2 partitions, the 2nd one also being fat32 which I intended
to, and do, use as a shared partition,eg.,I store .mp3's,.jpg's,
and downloaded files which either o/s can access. I keep this
2nd partition, hdb5, permantly mounted with a 'fstab' entry.
If I understand the Disk Druid confusion y'all are talking
about, I believe it's what sort'a stumped me at first. Druid
seemed to insist on adding '/' and '/swap' to hda. I finally
noticed that at one point early into Druid it listed both hda
and hdb as 'available', ie., both had '*'s in front of them.
When I removed the '*' from hda, Druid finally figured out that
I wanted to put '/ and /swap' on hdb and to leave hdb5 alone
also. The only 'confused o/s after that was W98, for some
reason I had to run the fat32 conversion utility on hdb5 (W98
calls it E:\) to get Windows to accept it again.
