I am running Mandrake 9.1. I am in the process of setting up accounts for my family. I have set up KPPP dial up tool in my account. How do I set it up so that it appears in all accounts and not just mine?
You could copy the kppp configuration files from your account to all the others (they're buried somewhere under .kde). Alternatively, if you all use the same ISP account and want to be online all the time (i.e. you're not on a pay-per-minute connection), you couldtry what I did and use wvdial, setting it to run as a daemon in your startup configuration. That way no one has to bother with connecting - by the time the windows manager has opened, they'll be online.
