Just keep in mind that you don't necessarily have to make use of your ISP's SMTP server (outbound email) - you can send the email directly from your linux workstation as most linux distributions have either SENDMAIL or POSTFIX - which is a mail server/service. So if restrictions are being forced upon you (silly ones like that) then you should be able to quite quickly setup your email client to use your own server as it's outbound server (SMTP) and therefore bypass the BS. -- Tue Jul 1 09:35:00 EST 2003 09:35:00 up 6 days, 9:21, 2 users, load average: 1.82, 1.60, 1.62 ----------------------------------------------------------------- | __ __ |kuhn media australia | | /-oo /| |'-. |http://kma.0catch.com | | .\__/ || | | |================================| | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' |stephen kuhn | | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | ----------------------------------------------------------------- linux user #:267497 linux machine #:194239 * MDK 9.1 & RH 7.3 Mandrake Linux Kernel 2.4.21-11mdk Cooker for i586 ----------------------------------------------------------------- * This message was composed on a 100% Microsoft free computer * To the landlord belongs the doorknobs.
