Just checked the BIOS, to be sure of being sure. The internal sound is indeed ON. (Making things even more obscure...) Hmmm... If things don't get better soon, I am going to rip the SB64 out of the old PC and stick that in this machine. I know that one always worked. Thanks for the help!
