Just had to share these stats with y'all; purchased a new CPU fan today - a Thermaltake Volcano 7 - so that coupled with the 120mm fan I mounted just above where the CPU sits - blowing directly down onto the CPU assembly (I cut a hole in the case side and mounted the fan outside of the case - it's an industrial 400 cubic metres per hour model) gives me the following nice stats: --------------------------------------------------------- CPU Fan: 3154 RPM (min = 3000 RPM, div = 2) SYS Temp: +30.5�C (limit = +45�C, hysteresis = +40�C) CPU Temp: +29.2�C (limit = +60�C, hysteresis = +55�C) SBr Temp: +20.7�C (limit = +65�C, hysteresis = +60�C) hddtemp /dev/hda: ST340016A: 29�C hddtemp /dev/hdb: ST340824A: 32�C ---------------------------------------------------------
