Ok, I'm pretty sure I've got everything downloaded and installed, and I have the executable file 19xfce4 where I'm supposed to. However, I still do not have XFce4 in my kdm startup menu. Here's the kdmrc file's contents. Is there something wrong with it?

Here are its contents: NAME=XFce4 ICON=xfce4.png EXEC=/usr/bin/startxfce4 DESC=The bleeding edge SCRIPT: exec /usr/bin/startxfce4 ------------------------------ Ever since I've download this stuff, however, other problems have been occuring. For example, everytime I try to use mplayer to play a wmv file or xine to play a quicktime file (I have the plugins installed for both of these programs), xine and mplayer both just lock up. RealPlayer 8 does the same when I try to view some RealPlayer files from the web.
