Nothing easier than that, especially if you're using KDE. Open your home directory, split the window then type in the bar ftp://url of the site/etc./9.1 and connect. Then just drag & drop the packages you want to your home directory..... or if you don't want to save them, just click (or double click) them there and install. In the latter case you obviously don't need to split the window:o) You'll only be prompted for your root password once:o) -- Good luck, HarM
