I installed a mathematica trial version for linux. The program works fine in computations and all except the keyboard. Some function keys don't give good output. For example I cannot use the Backspace or del key to delete somthing.. In place of a character removal I get a box character... I also noticed that mathematica has an option that spells: "Pure keys" When I enable that I can no longer write anything until I disable it.
Any experience in this? Mandrake 9.1 with all updates excpet kernel....
