There's a prettyy good hosts file at http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/Downloads/hosts127001.zip (it's the one I use) just unzip, open it with your preferred editor and copy it to /etc/hosts. I've added a few to it but all in all it blocks most ads. http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/how_to_use_hosts.html for reference.
