Additional proof of the old saw YMMV. Both KDE and Konq have been rock solid under 9.1; that wasn't always the case with 9.0. It's been a long time since 8.0, but my general impression is that each new version since 7.0 has been a substantial improvement over the previous one in all areas -- installation, performance, and stability. (Well, except for 7.2, and I'm very much in the minority on that.) Maybe it's a hair dye thing... -- cmg
