[newbie] browsing cache

   isn't there some true caching program ... well .. by true I mean: I 
keep setting cache sizes in Firebird & stuff .. and yet I never feel 
like I'm browsing like I did back when, though I was connecting via 
modem, because of this Windows program Netsonic2000 pages would load 
instantly while the content in the cache was being checked for the one 
online to see if I was looking at the newest version ... in short .. I 
could really feel there was a cache ... anything like that for a 1 
computer (I understand that if I was in a network and one computer was 
the gateway to the interenet soemthing like that could be done ...).
