Actually, my starting point for xset came from the .xinitrc file you sent me waaaaayy back! It's the starting / non-accellerated speed that's giving me trouble, though. I can't figure out how it changed, either. It's not like pekwm mucks with mouse settings, and i haven't cvs'd since the last stable release. I did find out today, though, that i did break icewm's gtk needs in all my rox compiling. Oh well. Ice was just my backup anyway. I use xfce for that now.. So there's probably a gtk mouse setting i messed up. For now, resolution 200 is working ok, but i'd still like to figure out a "user" way to change it... eric
