Win XP is just windows 2000 with Eye candy and a couple of new tools..

In some ways its better, in others not.. (hardware requirements went up
when XP came out)

But the tradeoff is an even more restrictive license then Win2000, and the
fact that they give themself permission to look around your hard drive and
load whatever they see fit..

Is the tradeoff worth it?
