Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
When the game is started you are first presented with a menu, and I don't think it it tries to connect to the net at that point. It doesn't do that until you tell it to. So no, if you don't even get to the menu, that probably has nothing to do with the firewall. I have had this problem myself too. Usually everything works just fine but occasionally I get a black screen. When I try again it works again. Sorry, but I can't help you more. -- Bj�rn
