Can't really help either 'cause i'm still using 2.26 too. Upgrading to (cookers) 2.28 requires upgrading python2.2 to version 2.3 which will require the library update 2.3 too. It seems python2.3 installation would take away "sketch". I don't want to loose sketch as it's the nicest vector program to handle .wmf files (besides OpenOfficeOrg, which is a tad too primitive in comparison) and I get to handle a lot of those. So I'll just stick with 2.26 for the time being. BTW there are some nice "hands on" blender tutorials to be had in French (they've been published in mags there): http://www.ed-diamond.com/produit.php?produit=100&recherche=blender&recherche2= if the language is no problem. As well, the english LinuxFormat mag recently started a nice blender tuto for newbies. They aren't in the archives yet though. -- Good luck, HarM Mandrake HowTo's & More:-) http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
