Subject: [newbie] Recommendation on mailing to group (approx 200) of
email addresses

Hi

I am using Evolution currently as my normal mail client and very happy
with stability/performance etc.

The one thing I would like to do however is to have a monthly mail to
approx 200 email addresses (no not to Spam them, these are legit
addresses who have enquired directly!!). I also want to send in text
format NOT html. All of the packages I have seen are Windoze marketing
packages which are all html based and only run under M$.

Anyone know/recommend of an extension to Evolution or stand alone
package with import facility?

Thanks

Peter

I'm using mojo mail.

It's a fairly easy to set up cgi script -- you have to have a web server and mail package running (I'm using apache and postfix) -- if I hadn't typo'd the path to postfix' sendmail function, it would have worked "out of the box"

You can import from an existing list of addresses fairly easily -- my last list manager couldn't export the list, but I could see them on screen, so I had to copy/paste them to mojo, but even that was fairly easy.
