Two days ago I contacted Trolltech in Norway, about the subject of SCO/Canopy. Here's their answer :
<quote> Dear Kaj Haulrich, Thank you for contacting Trolltech and for expressing your concerns. Trolltech is a privately owned company, and the Canopy Group and the SCO Group own a total of 5.7% of the Trolltech shares. Trolltech owns a small number of SCO shares. We have no collaboration with SCO. We cooperated with Caldera (now the SCO Group) many years ago (1999) as they were a significant Linux distributor, and that is the historical reason for the current cross-ownership. We would also like to emphasize that Trolltech does not support SCO's current actions against IBM. Best regards, Tonje Sund Trolltech AS, Waldemar Thranes gate 98, NO-0175 Oslo, Norway </quote> This pretty much eliminates my concerns.
