Which version did you use? 1.0 or 1.2 ? As you can see on http://www.nano-editor.org/overview.html : "Color syntax highlighting".is one of the features in 1.2. I only used color syntax highlighting once in nano, and I cannot really remember how I did it. But it should be explained in the nano help or in the README file I guess :-) I used it when it was new in nano. It was still a development version back then. Kind regards, Guilmot Mike
