When I think of computers as just another tool, it is easy to say yes when it does what you need. I have some boxes I have not messed with for a long time. The problem comes when I look at the computer as a toy/hobby/interesting-thing, etc. It then becomes difficult to resist fiddling with it. It is not 'just a tool'.
