I was so upset I called M$ PAID support. Their ONLY solution was to reformat, and this cost me $$$ for that lousy advice! I was really pi***d. I explained that I had about 10+ Gigs of data files on that machine. They did not give a s**t about that data, at all - didn't even apologize that it would be lost. Their attitude really is the s**ts! Fortunately, I had a fairly current backup that I didn't tell them about(I wanted to see what they would do), so it was not a huge disaster.
