XFree.org told me 3.3.5 was the newest and SiS drivers are good there.
but someone e-mailed me said that they upgraded to 3.3.5 and that is when
they started having the problems. I don't know what version mandrake 6.1
(helios) comes with yet but that is what I have been using having the
same problems you are. I downloaded the 3.3.5 of Xfree but I have not
installed it yet. So I don't know as of yet if it is a fix.
