After you fill in the password, did you press "ENTER" or click on "OK" with mouse? Sometimes if we just hit enter, it screws. Believe it or not.
I tried typing in password and hitting enter also, clicking the OK button. Also tried starting from eterm window as superuser still
same result invalid password.
