The walk really did me a lot of good ;-). I tried setting the margins with KDE print properties dialog, and that fixed it! As per usual, the thing was right in my face, but still out of view. lol And, the reason for the TurboPrint banner on the printouts?........I had unwittingly chosen "Inkjet Paper" as the paper option. With the free driver, that gives you the banner. :-/ I don't know why I make things so complicated sometimes. Thanks for your time and patience.
