I surely cannot be the only one to notice, that all over the place the % is used in commands, but for what reason ?
When I want an example I cannot find one. Damn it, but I'm sure people must of noticed them.
The fact that % didn't work in my particular instance is just 'by the way' , and as such it is still interesting to know why the % character is so often used . I think there is more to the use of the % character than has yet come out, am I wrong ?
