[newbie] pop3

Hi All,
         Does anyone know of a free and reliable POP3/SMTP e-mail
account,which I can use with KMail?
Lycos in their wisdom have gone Hotmail,and as far as I can see can not to
made to work with Linux.My ISP has given a useless user name and a password
I can never remeber.The ISP account all I get is spam anyway so I just bin
it all.
