How can i delete the messages in the queue? I have 2300 of them. Just fired up postfix for the first time a couple days ago, and i got an immense amount of harddrive activity.
In webmin, i see the large queue. The few mails i tried to send thru postfix the other day are in the queue, which is full of "Name service error for name=smtp.ehuffy.com type=A: Host not found" message. Which, for the moment, i am glad are not working because it would have caused a lot of downloading on my part. So, how do i get rid of them? Then, once that's done. i need to figure out what's causing them all. Any ideas? Nagios did have a lot of mail, mostly pop3, http, smtp critical warnings. I haven't run any of that, at least not on purpose, yet. I'm sure this is a simple one, but i am just now getting into "server" type apps on this beast. After that, i'll have to work on getting postfix setup properly... Thanks for any help, eric -- Mandrake HowTo's & More: http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
