Derek, I can 'see' the ftp site through my browser, but only after manually setting the proxy server name and port in the browsers options. As I don't have this option given to me during the initial phases of the network boot up installation, I can't appear to access the external ftp site. This is what happens in my browser when I don't set up the proxy server settings. I am hoping someone has had a similar problem and found a solution. Thanks for the speedy reply. Chewwit
